God is good!!
With the support of our friends at Family Video, 213 complete meals delivered to families (including shelter “families”). 240 (and counting) hot meals served . So the reality is that we have served well over 400 this year.

Family Video helps every year!
Your many acts of kindness donating hundreds of complete meals, preparing the deliveries and delivering baskets made a difference for so many this year.
One highlight, we are serving the first meal at the Hope Center (Family Homeless Center) and now are part of the tradition and have become a partner there.
We delivered family meals in Kokomo, Peru and Tipton to Head Start families and are providing a real Thanksgiving for dozens of Kokomo Schools children (the meals were delivered in the children’s names) .
We are providing the meals and the opportunity for every homeless shelter to eat at “Home” this Thanksgiving….they don’t have to leave the shelter and they can cook for themselves. They never had this opportunity to have a traditional dinner at their residence before.
We knocked on doors in the neighborhood surrounding “The Soul Food Cafe” and identified 27 “homeless (living with friends and relatives – but unable to live by themselves) people” not in shelters who will eat at the Cafe thanks to the outreach.
37 Dinners were delivered by the homeless residents at CAM to local families. It’s the right way to begin a season of caring.

We’ll see you this weekend as we are passing our free winter assistance kits at local stores and we’ll begin our annual gift wrapping at KMart.
Showing God’s love in a practical way.
