Dozens of families are riding the FREE shuttle to the Fair…..Only Two more days …..we’re waiting for you!!!!
Click here for the latest pictures from the MSC Tent
The Howard County Fair…..one of the great events in the entire midwest! Don’t forget to stop by and say hello while you enjoy your Morning Star Noodle Dinner! And just to make sure you have a few extra dollars to ha
ve that dinner, we are providing free “Park and Ride” services.
All you need to do is just drive the family to Morning Star Church (MSC) and we’ll do the rest. Your SIL team has partnered with CAM to provide shuttle service on a regular schedule (Park and Ride) from MSC to the fairgrounds. CAM will provide drivers and 2 vehicles, we will a
lso use the MSC van.
The schedule is to have the MSC 15 passenger van run from Noon until 11 pm and for the 2 CAM vans to run 6 pm until 11 pm. Fair goers will be allowed to ride for free from MSC. From 6 pm till 11 pm that’s every 20 minutes from either end.
Don’t forget to check out the “Connection” community center on the North side of the MSC lot. We will have lots of helpful and fun things

for our guests.
Our CAM friends will be raising a large “circus” type tent in the front lawn of the church to attract attention and we will do what we can to publicize the shuttle.
We’ll update this post as more details become available. See you at the Fair!!!

Beginning in April, we have provided daily service from Kokomo to Indianapolis for persons who want to commute and for job matching and preparation outreaches at Christ Lutheran.
In that time, over 20 people have connected with jobs in the greater Indianapolis area. Commuters who also ride the vans have save over 1000 trips by sitting back and relaxing as we do the driving. Most of all we are able to show God’s love in a practical way.
You may call Morning star Church (MSC) at 765-452-7166 or call SIL directly 765-438-4658 to schedule your ride. The van leaves at about 5:40 am and returns at about 6 pm. The cost is $5/day for commuters and free for job seekers. Click the contact information in the sidebar to email us ( servinginlove@comcast.net ) for more details or to join the Vanpool.

Once again: The van leaves Kokomo about 5:40 am and returns about 5:50 pm. Scheduled stops are at US 31 and SR 28 (Tipton) and 96th
and Meridian in Indianapolis. We have optional stops for the Indygo downtown Express Shuttle. We also have car service from the drop point in Indianapolis to Broad Ripple and 30th and Arlington. We hope to have west-side shuttles shortly. The ride is free for job seekers (referred by CLC) and $5/Day for commuters.
Christ Lutheran Church (CLC) sponsors free-of-charge Jobless Support Groups for the jobless in our community. Coordinated Area Ministries (CAM) has donated a van and is a partner as well.
